Employees will create a friendly, caring atmosphere for patients and will be recognized for service above and beyond. We will beat our competition by being “more friendly,” more convenient, more knowledgeable, more reliable and more efficient. We will use the most up to date technologies to enhance patient education, care and physician convenience as allowed under HIPAA regulations. Providers will be physical therapists that are either American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) board certified in clinical electrophysiology or actively pursuing ABPTS board certification in clinical electrophysiology. We will recruit and train new physical therapist employees through a company managed American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) recognized residency program.

Our Vision

To be the Southeast’s leading and most reliable provider of in-house EMG/NCS services we will develop a company culture of learning, teaching, intelligence, strong work ethic, trustworthiness, and professional leadership.

EMG Solutions physical therapists are properly and precisely educated

The professional education of the EMG Solutions physical therapist includes extensive learning in gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, muscle and nerve physiology, myology, neurology and pathology. All enter into play during the EMG/NCS process.

Our licensed physical therapists are all doctorally trained and have graduated from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited physical therapy school. Prior to receiving board certification in Clinical Electrophysiology our therapists undergo rigorous and intensive residency education and training through a program accredited by the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education (ABPTRFE).

EMG Solutions physical therapists are critically tested and credentialed

Our licensed physical therapists are board-certified in clinical electrophysiology after completing meticulous requirements. These include 2,000 hours of patient care in electrophysiology in the past 10 years, with 500 hours in the past 3 years. 500 electroneuromygraphy exams must be performed during those hours. Finally, a rigorous examination is administered through the National Board of Medical Examiners. EMG Solutions physical therapists are mentored by board certified physical therapists with a combined 60 years of practice performing more than 70,000 studies.
